We collect information you provide when using SustainLedger, such as: email address (for reports and account-related messages), company name, transaction data you upload or sync (e.g. via FreeAgent), and any other details you submit in forms or support requests. We may also collect technical data such as IP address and usage information in line with our analytics (e.g. Matomo).

How we use it

We use your data to generate carbon reduction reports, send you reports and service emails, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations. Transaction data is processed to produce your reports and is not used for other purposes. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention and security

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Transaction data may be processed and then removed in line with our data handling practices.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights including access, correction, erasure, and objection. To exercise these or ask questions, contact us at support@sustainledger.co.uk. You may also have the right to complain to the ICO.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will indicate material changes where appropriate. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
